Why We Built This

We tried every existing solution. Remote desktop apps are unusably clunky on mobile—text selection is a nightmare, copy/paste breaks constantly, and there's no autocomplete. Cloud coding environments are limiting; you can't use your local files, your hardware, or the tools you've spent time configuring.

VS Code's built-in tunneling gets you part of the way there, but it doesn't keep you in sync with your real desktop workflow. You end up with two separate environments that drift apart.

MobileVibe was built to solve our own frustration—and it's built using MobileVibe itself.

We wanted one seamless experience: code on desktop when you're at your desk, continue from your phone when you're not. Same files, same agents, same workflow.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is MobileVibe?

MobileVibe is the premier mobile vibe coding app that lets you control your real desktop VS Code environment from your phone or any browser. It's not a cloud IDE—it connects to your actual Windows PC and gives you a mobile-optimized interface to your existing setup, making vibe coding possible from anywhere.

Is MobileVibe a cloud IDE?

No. MobileVibe connects to your real desktop computer. All your code, files, and tools stay on your machine. We provide the secure connection layer and mobile-optimized interface, but the actual development environment is your own.

How is it different from Remote Desktop apps?

Remote Desktop apps stream your entire screen and weren't designed for coding. Text selection is frustrating, copy/paste often breaks, and there's no code intelligence. MobileVibe is a purpose-built vibe coding app with proper mobile text handling, autocomplete, and AI agent interaction—everything you need for mobile vibe coding.

How secure is MobileVibe?

Security is a core priority. Connections are encrypted end-to-end. Sessions are short-lived and require authentication. The Desktop Connector validates both the connection source and authentication tokens on every request. We never store your code on our servers.

What do I need to run MobileVibe?

You need a Windows PC with VS Code installed. The MobileVibe Desktop Connector runs on Windows and provides the connection to your mobile device. Mac support is coming later.
